On October 23, 2023, we launched E4D’s new Essential Guide to Science Advocacy, developed in partnership with Senator Stanley Kutcher and the Chief Scientist of Québec, and with generous support from the Fonds de recherche du Québec. Whether you work in the physical sciences or the humanities, this toolkit is your new starting point for finding ways to advocate for science.
But what does science advocacy look like today, in a world of echo chambers, misinformation and hyper-polarization? In this virtual launch event, we explored this very question with panelists Dr. Rémi Quirion, Senator Stanley Kutcher and Dr. Allison Sekuler. We explored why advocacy is a space where scientists can play a bigger role, and how the new Guide can help you get there.
