In this document, the Government of Rwanda provides an overview of the country’s legal and policy framework for achieving gender equality, discusses the state of gender equality in the national strategy for transformation, gives a detailed description of the three pillars upon which the strategy is based: gender equality in economic transformation, gender equality in social transformation, and gender equality in transformational government. The document also contains strategic recommendations.
