This report outlines the Canadian Coalition of Women in Engineering, Science, Trades and Technology’s (CCWESTT) initiative to establish a national "Centre" to increase women’s participation and leadership in SETT fields. It details a multi-phase strategy focused on building stakeholder collaborations, establishing a compelling business case for gender diversity, and researching international models to inform a centralized Canadian entity. The proposed model aims to provide national policy analysis, disseminate effective practices, and act as a resource clearinghouse to drive systemic institutional change.

CCWESTT acknowledges that our greater science, engineering, trades and technology (or SETT) community is situated on the ceded and unceded traditional territories of First Nation, Inuit, and Métis peoples from coast to coast to coast in what is known as ‘Canada’. CCWESTT fervently believes SETT is enriched through collective relations and knowledge sharing and is committed to helping enhance and build these relations. Full land acknowledgement here.
