This 10-year national strategic plan builds on the progress made under the previous strategic plan (Towards Tomorrow’s Skills) and outlines the plan to improve the quality and relevance of the country’s education and training base in response to the changing and diverse needs of its people, society, and the economy; to strengthen the relationships between and the transfer of knowledge between employers, educators, training providers, and all sections of society to help Irish people better prepare for life and work; and to improve the quality of its workforce so that Ireland’s people have the relevant knowledge, entrepreneurial agility, and analytical skills needed to thrive and succeed in today’s economy.
