CCWESTT Represented at UN Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW69)

BONNIE DOUGLAS SELECTED TO SERVE ON THE OFFICIAL CANADIAN DELEGATION TO THE 69TH SESSION OF THE UNITED NATIONS COMMISSION ON THE STATUS OF WOMEN

 

CCWESTT’s Executive Director is serving as part of Canada’s official delegation at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW) March 10-14, 2025 in New York. 

 

Bonnie Douglas was selected to join UNCSW69 as a civil society member of the delegation. Bonnie will provide input and expertise on this year’s priority theme: the review and appraisal of the implementation of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action and the outcomes of the 23rd special session of the General Assembly. Bonnie is well-positioned to speak to current challenges and barriers that affect implementation of strategic and action plans.

 

She will connect with others from across Canada and around the world, representing CCWESTT and sharing the work of UNCSW69 through the CCWESTT network.
