As of January 1, 2020, Bill C 25 requires that distributing corporations governed by the Canada Business Corporations Act (CBCA), including venture issuers, provide their shareholders and Corporations Canada with information about the representation of women, Indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities and members of visible minorities on their boards of directors and among senior management.
