For over 30 years, in various locations across Canada, a community supporting gender equity and diversity in SETT has been gathering together. Since its founding, CCWESTT has continued the tradition of hosting biennial conferences, where participants learn and are inspired to take action toward creating a diverse and inclusive SETT workforce.
Driving forward the overarching goal of achieving full gender equity at all levels in SETT, the event welcomes and provides opportunities for the active participation of women, gender-diverse people, and allies in all areas of this sector. Themes explore workplace culture, policies, procedures and attitudes affecting the experiences of women and gender diverse people, identifying critical challenges for retaining a diverse and inclusive SETT workforce.
